Spinal Energetics is an alternative approach to healing that focuses on the physical spine, the nervous system and energy field of a client. Developed by counselor and holistic chiropractor, Dr. Sarah Jane, this modality's main function is designed to cultivate self-awareness: discovering, connecting and claiming ownership of one’s energy; creative &spiritual committing to walking a liberated path of authenticity. By aligning these aspects of the self, it is believed that that natural flow of energy is returned to a client and in turn, the client can then gain an enhanced ability to heal on their own. Treatments are a collaborative experience with the client and practitioner in which nothing is being done 'to' a client but rather both are working together to attain the desired healing and growth.

Great question! This will vary based on variables such as whether you're experiencing acute symptoms and pain or if there's been a more chronic and progressive issue building. We recommend a minimum of 3-5 sessions to really start to unwind from the underlying issue and allow the modality to do its work.

Working to build a customized approach will ensure that you're getting just the right amount of sessions to support your goals.

As a practitioner, my desire is to build your ability to self heal and enhance your overall mind body connection. I would love to continue to see my clients as often as possible however, I find that using an approach to get out ahead of the issue and then build a proper maintenance routine is the most optimal for results!

While there are so many reasons to have a spinal energetics session, there are also seasons in life that we need to recognize isn't supportive to this approach. Listed below are some of the reasons this may just not be a good fit right now.

• Diagnosed Severe PTSD 


• Severe mental health conditions (bipolar, schizophrenia, psychosis) 


• Currently taking heavy medication that alters brain chemistry (anti-depressant, anti-anxiety, antipsychotic)

• Recent physical injuries, fractures and/or surgeries

• Epilepsy 


• History or diagnosis of aneurysms 


• Cardiovascular problems 


• History of seizures 


• Severe Asthma 


• Heart disease 


• Heart conditions 


• Hospitalisation for any psychiatric condition, emotional crisis, or spiritual emergence within the past three years

• Any other medical, psychiatric or physical conditions that would impair or affect their ability to engage in activities involving intense physical and/or emotional release.

While one session can create major shifts, releases and change, I find that most people that I work with are looking through a deeper level of transformation. I recommend committing to a minimum of at least 3 sessions

Each session delivers a unique experience. What occurs in one

session may or may not happen in another. As you’re always

changing, so will your session. Some common reports include;

• Visual/ Mental Experiences

• Spontaneous Body Movements & Stretches/ Twitches

• Emotional Releases of all sorts

• Energy Sensations

• Deep Relaxation or Even Falling Asleep

Good question! Tough to answer. Generally 1-2 weeks

between sessions are good, however depending on your

nervous system and integration period, it could be a little less

or more. After your first session, I would wait at minimum of 1

week before setting up your next session.

Rest easy! Most of the people I work with come with the same

fear. It’s not about forcing yourself to do something that

doesn’t work in hopes of getting results, its about honoring

your unique needs. This is why I take extra time in the

beginning to really connect and inutility work with you.

Every person and session is unique and movement isn’t always

an indication of a transformative session. Sometimes a client

can have a large internal experience and exhibit little to no

movement, other times there can be large and joyous

movements with little internal shifts.

Movement isn’t an indicator of depth but a unique expression

that day.
